Vera de Freitas is an associate in Lieff Cabraser’s Munich office. She specializes in cartel damages and other types of competition and civil law litigation as well as data protection law.

Before joining Lieff Cabraser, Vera worked as an attorney at an international law firm in Munich. During her legal clerkship, she contributed to the establishment of the first German Chamber of Commerce in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and worked at a German-Brazilian law firm in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, focusing on corporate, inheritance, and family law. Previously, she taught French and English in Southwestern Siberia, and Russian to adult learners.
