Markus Held is an associate in Lieff Cabraser’s Munich office, focusing on complex litigation.

Before joining Lieff Cabraser, Markus was an attorney in the litigation practice at another international law firm in Munich. Prior to that, he served as in-house counsel at a German automotive company where he handled corporate data protection matters.

He previously worked as a research assistant at the Chair for German and Bavarian State and Administrative Law under Prof. Dr. Max-Emanuel Geis at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

He completed his legal studies at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen.
